Contrary to the Büssing-NAG G 31, which was propelled by a four litres four-cylinder engine with a power of 65 HP, the Büssing-NAG G 31 K was propelled by a eight litres V8 engine with a power of 150 HP. The G 31 K is identifiable by the longer engine bonnet, the V8 Logo and the eight rim bolts. It had a payload of 3.5 tons. This chassis was mainly used for the production of fire-fighting vehicles which were also used by the Luftwaffe.
