Outwardly, the Schallauswertekraftwagen - sound evaluation motor vehicle - (Kfz. 62), abbreviated Schallausw. Kw. (Kfz. 62), the Stabsauswertekraftwagen - staff evaluation motor vehicle - (Kfz. 62), abbreviated Stbs. Ausw. Kw. (Kfz. 62), and thee Vermessungsauswertekraft- wagen - survey evaluation motor vehicle - (Kfz. 62), abbreviated Verm. Ausw. Kw. (Kfz. 62), could not be differentiated. Such vehicles were used in staff and observation batteries of the artillery units. (Image from D 600)

The different Kfz. 62’s were mainly based on the chassis of the Büssing-NAG G 31, Mercedes- Benz G 3 a and most probably also Magirus M 206. Later, the Einheitsfahrgestell für l. Lkw. - standard chassis for light lory - was also used.
