The Boots-Akja – boat Akja – had a closed boat shape and was therefore longer than a leichte Akja or Waffen-Akja. It could carry up to 150 kg. Wounded could be transported with the Boots-Akja besides equipment, weapons and ammunition. (Image from D 72)
