The Zündapp K 500 (W) was manufactured from 1933 to 1940, which is for sure an indication for its quality. The 498 ccm two-cylinder engine had an output of 16 HP.
The Wehrmacht received several thousand exemplars of this machine. This ZündappK 500 W was photographed during necessary maintenance.
The Zündapp K 500 W was used as solo machine and also as sidecar combination. The sidecar combinations were mainly used by the motorcyle infantry.
