VOMAG Type 5 OR 658

The VOMAG 5 OR 658 was manufactured beginning in 1935. This model was a good seller. It was propelled by a six-cylinder diesel engine. Beginning in 1939, the new round engine bonnet of the modernized 5 ton lorry was used. The illustrated vehicles belonged to a unit of the Luftwaffe. The motorcycle in the foreground is a Zündapp K 500 W.

There were also car bodies of other manufacturers based on the popular VOMAG 5 OR 658 chassis. This formerly bus of the Reichspost of the year of construction 1939 had a car body of the company Steinfurt. It was used by a unit of the Wehrmacht during the campaign against France.
