NAG-Voran

NAG Voran 1,5 to Protz-Kfz RW-3264, Hoppe

The NAG-Voran was developed for the Reichswehr at the end of the 1920s. It had a payload of 1.5 tons and - according to the literature - all-wheel drive. But this is doubtfull because there is no Voran front axle visible. But the second axle with drive-through to the third axle was most probably a Voran patent. The illustrated NAG-Voran had a superstructure as Protzkraftwagen - towing vehicle for guns - (Kfz. 69).

At that times, many different superstructure variants were tested. This NAG-Voran is most probably a trial vehicle of the Mannschaftskraftwagen (Kfz. 70).

This NAG-Voran had a closed superstructure and was most probably used as radio vehicle. The frame antenna on the roof points to this conclusion. These vehicles of the late 1920s had superstructures which differed from later superstructure designs. Different designs of superstructures and different radio models were tested in this time period.
