Kaelble Z 6 W a

From 1937 to 1938, altogether 49 exemplars of the Kaelble Z 6 W a wheeled-tractor were delivered to the Wehrmacht, which were mainly brought into action by the Luftwaffe. The vehicles were propelled by a 100 HP diesel engine. A cable winch with a pulling force of 4.5 tons was fitted to the rear of the vehicle.

This Kaelble wheeled-tractor is most probably a type Z 6 W a, too. The newer style driver’s cab points to the year of construction 1938. The visible unit marking on the door could not be identified by now.
