The Henschel Type 33 B 1 was the direct predecessor of the Henschel Type 33 D 1. It was made from 1928 to 1935. It was propelled by the Henschel Type B petrol engine with four-cylinders and a power of 65 HP.

The payload of the Henschel Type 33 B 1 was 3 tons. The rims had only three spokes. Also typical for this model was the short engine bonnet. The photo was made in Nuremberg in 1934.

This Henschel Type 33 B 1 was used by the NSKK for drivers schooling. The bulge on the left side of the engine bonnet did not exist on the Henschel Typ 33 D 1.

This Henschel type 33 B 1 was used by Legion Condor. Interestingly, it had Simplex-rims. If these were standard on late models ore were retrofitted could not be clarified.
