FAUN manufactured buses only in very small numbers. Nevertheless, the bus type O 33 D 563 appears in an official document of the common motor vehicles of the Wehrmacht. Possibly this type was a special series made for the Wehrmacht. The illustrated omnibus appears on several photos in use by the Wehrmacht. Therefore, the illustrated vehicle is most probably the mentioned FAUN O 33 D 563.

The superstructure of this FAUN O 33 D 563 with the number plate WH-101415 corresponds widely to the superstructure of the vehicle illustrated above. The windshield is a bit sloping on this vehicle. This and other different details indicates a later production model of this series.
