Adler Type 3 Gd Kübelwagen

The Adler type 3 Gd was the successor of the Adler 12 N - 3 G. The total array of the vehicle is easy to recognize. The wheel base had been extended about 50 cm, which reduced its cross-country mobility.

Nearly 4,300 exemplars of the Adler type 3 Gd were produced from 1936 to 1940. It was propelled by the same six-cylinder, 60 HP engine like the Adler type 12 N - 3 G. This Adler type 3 Gd presumably belonged to a battalion staff of 16. Infanterie Division (mot).
