Remorque cuisine modèle 1933/39 type R 4 classe I

This Belgian field kitchen for motorised towing is a Remorque cuisine modèle 1933/39 type R 4 classe I. Simply, it is a modèle 1933 R 2 which was modified from horse drawn to motorised towing in 1939.

This field kitchen had a dead weight of 840 kg, a payload of 450 kg and a total weight of 1290 kg. The main bowl had a capacity of about 200 to 250 litres, the additional coffee boiler had a capacity of 90 litres. As option, there was a baking oven, a deep fryer or a thermos container available.
