The Sondernhänger (1 achs.) (Sd. Ah. 56) & (Sd. Ah. 57) - one-axle special trailers - were trailers for accessory and ammunition of the self propelled 2 cm Flakvieling 38 (Sd. Ah. 56) and 3.7 cm Flak 36 (Sd. Ah. 57). The interior of the trailers was adapted to the different ammunition and accessory. Outwardly, they were identical constructed. This Sd. Ah. 56 seems to have a curved roof. This points to a later date of production. The Sd. Ah. 56 was officially introduced with A.H.M. 1941, Blatt 11 from 21st April 1941, Nr. 394. A date of an official introduction of the Sd. Ah. 57 is not known till now.
