The Azetylen-Erzeugungs-Anhänger - acetylene producer trailer - (Sd. Ah. 22) was used to produce acetylene for the autogenous welding and cutting. Power was supplied by a 7.5 kVA machine set. The system was built up on a Einheitsanhänger 5t (E 5). The official introduction was announced in the A.H.M. 1942, Blatt 25 from 7th November 1942, No. 959.
