Soldering, wiring and tool equipment was transported with the Festungskabellötkarren - fortress-cable-soldering-wagon. It was used by Kabelschalttrupps - cable connection squads - of the fortress units. The trailer was usable for motorised towing. It was not allowed to exceed a maximum speed of 40 km/h on good roads.
