The Spornwagen (Heuschrecke I) mit Handbetrieb - tail wheel trolly (grasshopper I) with manual operation - was used for the hauling and the relocating of aircrafts on the runway. It was operated manually but could also be towed by a tractor. It could handle an aircraft with a tail wheel pressure of up to 500 kg at a dead weight of 170 kg. (Image from D.(Luft)T. 8800/5)
