The revolutionary Airflow design was developed by Chrysler. In 1934, it entered serial production at Chrysler and De Soto. The De Soto SE Airflow of the year of construction 1934 was the first serial model made by De Soto. In total 13,940 vehicles of this type were made. The design was ahead of its times and it was not a success on the market. The illustrated car was captured by a unit of the Wehrmacht in the area of Niemwegen, Holland.
