The Caterpillar RD 6 of the series 2 H was manufactured from 1935 to 1937. In 1937, it was renamed Caterpillar D 6. In total 8,966 exemplars of this series were made until 1941. It was propelled by a three-cylinder engine with a power of 45 HP. This Caterpillar RD 6 resp. D 6 was used by a unit of the Luftwaffe. Sadly it is unrecorded who had installed a radiator of the brand Somua to this vehicle.
