The BA-20 based on the chassis of the GAZ-M1 was manufactured beginning in 1936. The vehicle had a weight of 2.5 tons and was armed with a 7.62 mm DT machine gun. It had a crew of three. The illustrated vehicle was used by a war correspondent unit. (Photo: NARA)
