40 Autoblinda Lancia 1Z with two turretsa one above the other were manufactured from 1915 to 1917. Beginning late in 1917, 100 exemplars of the third series Lancia 1ZM were manufactured. This series had only one turret. Many of these vehicles were still in service during World War II. Some of these vehicles were taken over by German units, for example the SS Polizei Regiment Bozen had one of these vehicles.
