VW Type 82 Kübelwage

This VW-Kübelwagen was most probably photographed on the east front in 1943. The vehicle belonged to 3. Panzer Division. Interestingly, the rims were painted in grey whereas the rest of the vehicle was painted in the newer shade Dunkelgelb RAL 7028.

This VW-Kübelwagen armed with an MG 34 was used by Aufklärungs-Abteilung 37 (mot) of 7. Panzer Division.

The top of this VW-Kübelwagen was closed due to weather conditions. The side windows - which could be fitted on the doors if needed - were used, too.
