Based on the new 5 ton lorry VOMAG 5 Cz, the omnibus type VOMAG OV 57 propelled by the VOMAG six-cylinder engine was introduced in 1926. On demand of the KVG Sachsen, this type was also offered propelled by the Maybach OS 5 six-cylinder engine as VOMAG OM 57. This type was a bestseller. The VOMAG OM / OV 57 was also offered in a three-axle variant.
