O.D.-Werk Willy Ostner, Brand Erbisdorf (Sachsen)

In 1927, Willy Ostner started with the production of motorcycles in his O.D.-Werk in Dresden. Beginning in 1932, three-wheel commercial vehicles were made. Because of increasing demand, Ostner purchased plant grounds in Brand Erbisdorf for the manufacturing of commercial vehicles in 1935. With the expansion of the production of commercial vehicles, the production numbers of motorcycles were reduced. In 1936, production of motorcycles was discontinued. With the O.D.-Rex 4 Eintonner, Ostner introduced its first four-wheel commercial vehicle in 1937. This type was made right into the war.
