In 1938, Krupp presented an armoured Polizei Streifenwagen - police patrol car - during the IAA in Berlin. It was propelled by a 70 HP engine and was equipped with a reversing drive gearbox. The top speed was given as 70 km/h. Most probably a Krupp L 2 H 243 of which only two were made was used as chassis. In contrast to the famous Krupp L 2 H 143, the L 2 H 243 was equipped with a 70 HP engine.
