The installation of the telephone equipment was regulated in D 963/101 Einbauanleitung zur Herrichtung eines m. gl. Lkw. oder m. Lkw. (o) mit offenem Aufbau als a) mittlerer Fernsprechkraftwagen; b) schwerer Fernsprechkraftwagen from 6th August 1937.
