Mainly, these armoured m. Zgkw. 8t were used during the France campaign in 1940. They were used as towing vehicles for the 8.8 cm Bunkerflak.

These vehicles were used by the Armee Panzerjäger-Abteilungen 525, 560 and 605, exclusively. The illustrated vehicle was photographed in Colmar.
