Henschel Type 25 T 1 & 28 T 1 / 2

The Henschel types 25 T 1 with a payload of 2.5 tons and 28 T 1 / 2 with a payload of 2.75 tons were manufactured beginning in 1935 resp. 1936. They were the successor models of the Henschel types 25 O 1 and 28 O 1 / 2. Already in 1938, the Henschel type 25 T 1 disappeared from the offer. The types 25 T 1 and 28 T 1 with a wheelbase of each four meters could not be differentiated, outwardly.

The lorry in this photo is a Henschel type 28 T 2 of the year of construction 1936. It was used by the RAD. Note the longer wheelbase of 4.65 meters compared to the type 25 T 1.

The Henschel type 28 T 1 / 2 was complemented by the Henschel type 30 T 1 / 2 - of which it differed by the six wheel bolts and the headlights attached onto the mudguards - beginning in 1937. This Henschel type 28 T 1 had the new radiator grille introduced in 1937.
