In 1935, the Hansa Lloyd Europa IV, which was propelled by a 70 HP petrol engine, and the Hansa Lloyd Europa IV D were presented. The Europa IV D was propelled by the same 75 HP diesel engine like the predecessor model Europa III D.
The payload of three tons wasn’t changed compared to the predecessor models Europa III and Europa III D. This formerly civilian Hansa Lloyd Europa IV D was modified by adding an additional skirting protection in front of the radiator.
