The Funkkraftwagen - radio motor-vehicle - (Kfz. 17/1) had only one rod antenna on the left side of the car body. The Kfz. 17 had two spare- respectively supporting-wheels on the sides of the car body. The spare-wheel on the right side was dropped with the Type 40. The illustrated vehicle belonged to Artillerie Regiment 14 (mot) of 14. Infanterie Division (mot).
