Vehicles which were equipped with the 5 cm Pak 38 had the same problems during combat. Therefore, some vehicles got an armour protection in front of the radiator and the driver’s compartment. But this was nothing but a minor improvement. This le. Zgkw. 1t with 5 cm Pak 38 belonged to Panzerjäger Abteilung 13 of 13. Panzer Division and was photographed in Russia in 1942.
