From this perspective, the low gun shield of the 3.7 cm Pak is clearly visible. Despite the not driven front axle, cross-country mobility was acceptable. But especially during cross-country drive, the components of the front axle wore out very fast which lead to many failures. Partly, this was caused by the shortened track drive assembly which relocated the mass centre in an unfavourable way. Such failures were nearly unknown on the Sd. Kfz. 10.
