Mercedes-Benz Type Lo 2600 resp. O 2600 (L 60)

The type series Mercedes-Benz type Lo 2600 was made beginning in 1935. It was propelled by either a petrol or diesel engine with a power of each 65 HP. The bus had 26 seats and was classified as medium bus by the Wehrmacht.

Beginning in 1937, this type series was designated Mercedes-Benz type O 2600. Besides some optical changes, the power of the used engines was increased to each 70 HP. Caused by the lengthened chassis, a longer car body with 32 seats could be fitted. This Mercedes-Benz type O 2600 was photographed near Roslawl in 1941.
