The Kleinfunkkraftwagen - small radio car - (Kfz. 61) was introduced in the early 1930s. It was used for the transportation of a Kleinfunkgerät a - small radio set a - für mot. The closed superstructure had one door per side but not in the rear wall. Eight Steckmastrohre 1.25 m - radio mast rods - were carried along in mountings on the right side of the body. The vehicle had a crew of six men.
