Bergmann torpedo cart

The Kriegsmarine used small electric carts of the company Bergmann for the transportation of torpedo’s in the base area. The illustrated photos were made on the Tag der Wehrmacht – day of the Wehrmacht- on 28th March 1943 at the Torpedo Kommando Koenigsberg.

The Bergmann label is clearly visible on the chassis frame. The small electrical cart had a payload of  2,000 kg.

The torpedo was transported on a special trailer belonging to the electric cart. The exact designations of these vehicles could not be identified so far.
