The Wanderer W 21 and W 22 were made as competition models to the Mercedes-Benz type 170 from 1933 to 1935. The illustrated vehicle is a Wanderer W 21 of the year of construction 1933. The rough braces of the radiator grille were typically for the early models. The W 21 was propelled by a 35 HP six-cylinder engine. There was a cabriolet with four seats and two side windows besides the illustrated four-door limousine with four windows. A four door limousine with four side windows and the stronger 40 HP engine of the W 22 was offered as W 21 M 8.
