Renault AHR

About 1,000 to 2,000 exemplars of the 5 ton lorry Renault AHR were manufactured for the Wehrmacht as Lastkraftwagen 5t Renault AHR from 1941 to 1944. It had the same driver’s cab like the Renault AHN. The AHR can be differentiated from the AHN by the seven tarpaulin hoops.

Most probably only temporarily, this Renault AHR was used as towing vehicle for a formerly Soviet 12.2 cm Kanone 390/1 (r) (original designation: 122 mm Pushka obr. 1931 g (122-31)). The gun had a travelling weight of 7.8 tons!
