Altogether 225 exemplars of the artillery tractor Laffly S 35 T were made from 1937 to late June 1940. The vehicle was used as towing vehicle for heavy artillery guns of the 10 ton class by the French army. Further 83 exemplars were manufactured for the Wehrmacht.
The Laffly S 35 T was propelled by a 6.3 litres four-cylinder engine with a power of 100 HP. A payload of 1.2 tons could be carried, too. This captured Laffly S 35 T was used as towing vehicle for a 8,8 cm Flak 37.
A large spade was attached to the rear of the vehicle so that the full towing capacity of the cable winch could be used.
