The BerlietGDM had a payload of 7.5 tons. Some of these heavy duty lorries were used by the French Army as tank lorry. This one was already captured by the Wehrmacht. The design of the driver’s cab points to a vehicle made in the early 1930’s.
This Berliet GDM of a later production series was used by a unit of the NSKK. Most probably, the Imbert wood-gas generatot was retrofitted.
