Tatra 85, 85 A

The Tatra 85 was made for the Czechoslovakian armed forces from 1936 to 1938. Only 51 vehicles were equipped with platforms and served as lorries. 168 vehicles were manufactured as tank lorries. The Tatra 85 shown in the photo is such a tank lorry in service with the Africa Corps.

This is a photo of a further Tatra 85 tank lorry in service with a Luftwaffe unit. In the Luftwaffe it was designated as Kfz. 384. The special tank trailer Tatra 110 which looks at first sight like an independent vehicle is also interesting. The photo was taken in 1942.
