Altogether 769 Skoda 606 D, which had a payload of six tons, were made from 1930 to 1940. Further 426 exemplars of the Skoda 706, which had an increased payload of 6.5 to 7 tons, were manufactured from 1939 to 1943. The upper vehicle still had the old style louvres but already a slightly slanting radiator grilleThis design of the Skoda 606 D was most probably made starting in the mid 1930s.
