JAWA

 

 

 

 

 

JAWA arose out of an armament factory in 1929. At the beginning, motorcycles were manufactured under license of Wanderer. Later, own developed models were manufactured. Beginning in 1933, the DKW Meisterklasse was manufactured under license under the name JAWA 700. In 1937, the JAWA Minor was introduced. It was the first own developed car. Before the beginning of World War II, nearly 2,000 exemplars were manufactured.
