The usage was specified in the appropriate K.St.N. Lkw 3t, offen were used for example for the transportation of personnel, of fuel, of baggage, of orderly room equipment, of ammunition, of medical equipment and as field kitchen motor vehicle with the small or large Feldkochherd - field range.
