Especially for the Regiment General Göring, a self propelled anti aircraft gun armed with the 2 cm Flak 38 was created based on the mittlerer Schützenpanzerwagens (Sd. Kfz. 251). The vehicles had a broadened fighting compartment with foldable side walls. There was also a command version of this vehicle with a Dachantenne - roof antenna.
