mittlerer Zugkraftwagen 8t (Sd. Kfz. 7)

The m. Zgkw. 8t (Sd. Kfz. 7) was developed as towing vehicle for medium loads like the 8.8 cm Flak, the 10 cm s. K. 18 or the 15 cm s. FH 18 - which can be seen in the illustrated photo. It was also used as recovery vehicle for light armoured vehicles.

The conclusion model of the Sd. Kfz. 7 of the type KM m 11 was made beginning in 1944. The complex rear superstructure was replaced by a simple platform made of wood which could be covered by a simple tarpaulin. The illustrated photo was made in November 1944.
