The Flugbetriebsstoffkesselkraftwagen (Kfz. 384) mit Fahrgestell des m. gl. Lkw. (o) - aircraft fuel tank motor vehicle (Kfz. 384) with chassis of the medium cross-country lorry (commercial) - had a fuel capacity of 3,500 litres. This version was exclusively made based on the chassis of the Mercedes-Benz LG 3000. At first, 45 vehicles of the series 3T, which is identifiable by the upright rear of the superstructure, were manufactured.

These vehicles were followed by 56 exemplars of the series 17T and 189 vehicles of the series 27T. These versions had a longer but more flat tank superstructure. For reasons of safety, the exhaust pipe of these tank lorries was relocated under the bumper.
