Kübelwagen with an engine capacity of 1,500 to 3,000 cm³ were classified as mittlerer gelände- gängiger Personenkraftwagen - medium cross-country passenger car - (Kfz. 11), abbreviated m. gl. Pkw. (Kfz. 11). Chassis of Adler (10 N), Mercedes-Benz (8/38 PS, Stuttgart 260), Horch (830 R) and Wanderer (W 11 10/50 PS) were used.

The Kfz. 11 was a vehicle for passenger transport. A typical feature was that the spare wheels were stored at the rear of the vehicle. Already in the early 1930s, this superstruction variant became less important. For sure, the Kfz. 11 was no longer procured after 1934/35.
